I love this plant. This is a Candy Cane Hibiscus that Matt and the girls got me for Mother’s Day probably 8 years ago. It has been in pots, planted in a bed, put back in a pot so we could move it and then planted again. The leaves alone are beautiful-variegated, pink, shades of green and white. When it’s blooming the flowers are similar but primarily reds. Last year it was planted and got to be a solid 6 ft tall. I was lazy this past winter and with the freezes thought I’d completely lost it. For now there’s a tiny pile of leaves at the base as it starts over.
