DIY Rustic Coffee Table

Pam and I have been wanting a square, rustic coffee table for a while.  We’ve shopped, priced to no end and haven’t found what we’ve been looking for…certainly not at a price we liked.

So, I found these plans online to build one (Rustic X Coffee Table), but made some modifications to make it square instead of rectangle.

Shopped for all the materials in the morning, made cuts and assembled through the day.

Most of the raw materials after cuts.

Assembled side trims.

Assembled frame.

Bottom shelf pieces cut and pocket holes drilled.

Bottom shelf installed.

Frame, with bottom shelf installed and decorative x braces.

Top, upside down, joined together with pocket screws.

Fully assembled.

All that’s left is sanding and staining!
