Which is a better read? Reason by far. But I read Time also because I don’t agree with most of it. It’s easy to stick with stuff I like but looking at things from a different point if view makes me re-evaluate why I believe what I believe. Stretch yourself with new info and questions. Another page of effort complete. No PRs as this block was mostly a de-load week which followed a very tough last session. I needed rest. We forget how integral rest is in development but ever hard effort in the gym needs to be followed with rest, clean eating and supportive supplements to help your body rebuild and improve. Getting enough water in is crucial always but now, when temps are rising and activity levels are too, is a big danged deal. Dehydration negatively impacts your ability to work out hard, it slows your thinking and shows up as head aches and being overly tired as well as hungry when they aren’t. Folks who do exercise are more prone to injuries when they are dehydrated. Adding citrus, mint, cucumbers and berries to water is a great way to improve the flavor without impacting your calorie load. I love my fruit infused water pitcher! My Daddy. It is amazing the impact a person can have in another person’s life. For better or worse we balance and define ourselves by those around us so choose wisely. So diet has been dialed in (with one vacation bit of badness) for 12 weeks now. Training in the first part of 2014 was predominantly light weight with more cardio than I usually do. We’ve been on this Wendler’s 5-3-1 program for 12 weeks of consistent training. I love this plant. This is a Candy Cane Hibiscus that Matt and the girls got me for Mother’s Day probably 8 years ago. It has been in pots, planted in a bed, put back in a pot so we could move it and then planted again. The leaves alone are beautiful-variegated, pink, shades of green and white. When it’s blooming the flowers are similar but primarily reds. Last year it was planted and got to be a solid 6 ft tall. I was lazy this past winter and with the freezes thought I’d completely lost it. For now there’s a tiny pile of leaves at the base as it starts over. So I’ve been SOOOO bored with cooking lately. I see the recipes. I Pin them. What I don’t do is make them. Then I got the idea to make meatballs-or meat cookies-to make them even more fun!
